Natural wood lamp made with a chestnut branch, vintage bulb and jute cable

Table lamp made with a fine branch of chestnut wood character. This branch has been naturally polished and marked by the weather, the iodized air of the nearby sea and of course the wind, the rain and the sun.
The base is made with a pretty disc shaped in an oak plank.
The branch has a diameter of +-3 cm, it is thin but very solid.
Braided natural jute cord, vintage silver-coloured sleeve (also available in copper colour).
Switch on the cord.

The branches we use are carefully selected for their shape, texture and durability. They come from standing dead trees knocked down by a storm. The branches then lose their bark with time, rain and sun. And in the case of chestnut, which is a very resistant, rot-proof wood, these branches take on a pretty hue ranging from beige to brown depending on exposure and age. The branches are meticulously cleaned, brushed, sanded to highlight the grain of the wood, the nuances of colors and the effects of time and climate.
